About Me.
My varied and lengthy background is due to talents that cross industries and a strong desire to work starting from childhood. I grew up using computers at home and at school and have always learned software with ease. I type 70 wpm, use keyboard shortcuts, and, at a bank, I learned to 10-key with accuracy. I learned how to work with graphics at one job, and software development at another. My curiosity and eagerness to learn have made me great at research and receptive to good advice. See my Work History below for a more detailed account of each job and volunteer position.
All of my experience has led me to creating websites. As a business owner, there isn't much you can't do for yourself, but you don't have to do it all! With some background information, I can design a website that reflects your style and your mission, details your products and services, and impresses prospective customers.
You don't

Work History
2025
Owner, Cina Designs
I create webpages for your business (using any website builder platform) that represent your business and its goals. I take photos of your business, edit them, and post them to your site. My rates are competitive and you can go live within a week.
2013 - 2025
Caretaker for
Special Needs Children
Manage the children’s schedule and healthcare, all housework and home maintenance, all business of life matters including bills, obtain and maintain IEPs from schools, working with teachers, signing up with ALTA for services, etc.
2014
Legal Intake Coordinator
I worked briefly with an attorney whom I had worked with previously. I talked with prospective clients about their case, took notes and forwarded their information to the attorney. This attorney was a pleasure to work with, but it became difficult to manage my children's needs and the demands of the job.
2011 - 2013
Bookkeeper/ HR/
Software Alpha Tester
The main company offered bookkeeping and HR services to law offices, but their second company was a burgeoning software for client management. Working as a bookkeeper, I did daily data entry, doc organization, research on incomplete reimbursement requests for client billing, HR support, building management, secretarial duties for my supervisor, etc. For the software company, I answered customer calls and ran diagnostics, tested new software versions for bugs on various operating systems, attended meetings to help translate between code writers and boss, and took minutes.
2008 - 2011
Law Firm File Center Manager/
Paralegal Support
This was my favorite job of all time; their professionalism and dedication to their employees was unlike anywhere else. Helping clients who were wronged by large companies gave me great satisfaction and I look forward to returning to that work. Here I started by filing every piece of paper in the medium-sized law firm. I created systems for opening and closing cases, tracking file locations, and saving medical records. Then they moved me to a 6-month project for a settled case. Being happy with my work, they asked me to move my desk to the area with the legal secretaries, where I took a lot of work off the desks of the paralegals. I created spreadsheets for tracking cases (case management software was not yet what it is today), and attended meeting to interpret that information for the attorneys. I did intakes with prospective clients for class action and mass tort cases and mailed them new client packets.
2007 - 2008
Cattering Company Server
For a brief time, I worked for the catering side of a prominent restaurant in Sacramento. The business catered high end events for local politicians, private weddings, etc. I served the food, cleared the table, cleaned up the tables at the end and packed up our supplies back into the van. I kept the job for a few months after starting work at the next law firm.
2005 - 2007
Law Firm File Clerk/ Office Assistant/ Paralegal Suport
A prominent small law firm in Sacramento, CA hired me to be their file clerk and office assistant. I managed the file room, filed documents with courts and delivered packages, inventoried, ordered and stocked the supply room and the kitchen, did routine maintenance on every computer in the office, and covered the receptionist for their lunch. I found my love of law at this job, and will always be grateful for the mountains of information they passed on to me. They turned me into a fine-tuned machine, precise and efficient.
2004 - 2005
Daycare Teacher
For a time, I thought I wanted to work with kids for a living. I even went to school to get my 16 credit of Early Childhood Education, but I learned a lot about myself in those two years, and I'll leave that job to others. I have a lot of respect for good teachers as it is a hard job and maybe the most imprtant.
2003 - 2004
Pizza Restaurant Manager
The manager from my first pizza job left the chain and opened his own restaurant. He called and asked me to run his first and then his second location. I often worked alone and was responsible for every aspect of running a pizza shop, from prepping ingredients, prepping and baking the food, serving and charging the customers, cleaning the restaurant from front to back, and opening and closing the restaurant.
2003
Lazer Charm Bracelet Designer
Here, we sold charms with gems, etc. but we also made charms with a laser printer. These tiny trinkets were all the rage at the time and we would get custom orders everyday. I used image editors to change pictures into vector images for the printer. These designs had be very precise as the charms were very small but the printer was not super fine.
2002 - 2003
Perfume Business Owner
I worked for and then co-owned a small perfume business. While it was difficult to get enough sales to make a living, it was a quality product that I stood behind.
2000 - 2002
Bank Merchant Teller
At the time, this bank would interview and train prospective candidates and then you had to interview for open positions at individual branches. I started at the Florin Rd. branch where I used my Spanish skills with most of my clients. Then I transferred to the Broadway & 15th St. branch where I became a Merchant Teller, processing large sums of money very quickly for a diverse community of business owners.
2000
Ice Cream Parlor Employee
When I took on this part-time position, I kept the card merchandising job. Here I kept the ice cream stocked, served customers, operated the cash register, washed dishes, and inventoried the freezer and store room.
2000
Greeting Card Merchandiser
This was a very autonomous position. Cases of greeting cards were delivered by mail to the grocery stores. I unpacked them, stocked the shelves, dusted and clean up the areas, all without direct supervision.
1998 - 1999
Pizza Restaurant Employee
I had a great experience at my first official job, where I took orders and operated the cash register, ran pizzas and bussed tables, stocked the salad bar and occasionally made the food.
1996-1997
Volunteer Jr. Lifeguard
The Jr. Lifeguard program was offered by the Parks and Recreation Department in Elk Grove to students who were not yet eligible to be official lifeguards at the public pool. For two summers I earned volunteer hours to assist with swim lessons, guard the line to the slide, and run the snack shop.
1993 - 1998
Community Babysitter
I took a babysitting class offered by the Parks and Recreation Department of Elk Grove, CA and started offering my services to families we knew. I took care of toddlers to elementary school children for 2-6 hours a day as needed.

Education
2024
A.A. in Psychology
American River College
While the goal has always been to complete my paralegal studies, I found that the psychology degree required far fewer classes and could be completed quickly showing that I am capable of finishing my education. Outside of school, I have read many books on psychology and the human psyche; I find it fascinating!
N/A
Diploma
Laguna Creek H.S.
I graduated from a high-ranking school with higher graduation requirements than other schools in the county. I studied Spanish from 8th grade to 12th, participated in three years of colorguard, and received a graduation cord for over 100 hours of volunteer work.
